LED fixtures consume approximately 75% less electricity resulting in lower operating costs and a reduction of light pollution in the environment. Also, with less wattage comes smaller transformers. A job that would have been a 900-1200 watt tranformer now can be accomplished with a 200-300 watt transformer.
